Remembering William Payne

William Peter James Payne, a vibrant soul taken too soon, touched the hearts of everyone he met. Born with an infectious smile and a generous spirit, William’s life was a testament to kindness, courage, and love. His passion for adventure and his unwavering loyalty to friends and family left an indelible mark on all who knew him. As we reflect on his journey, we celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and the profound impact he made in his short time with us. William’s legacy lives on in the stories we share and the love we carry forward in his name.

Will embodied the spirit of altruism and selflessness. In addition to football, he loved quizzes and tennis. He loved his family, music, gaming and visiting football stadiums on his travels.

A particular highlight of his short life was playing on the Molineux pitch at half-time between Wolves and Aston Villa – the support of the crowd that day inspired him greatly.

Will was loved by everyone who knew him. He was so very happy, and had found peak happiness at university.

He rose to every challenge life threw at him, including epilepsy – he battled through to achieve so much.

His life has been tragically cut short and we are utterly broken.

We hope that you would consider honouring Will with a donation to SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) the only UK charity working alongside those who have lost loved ones to an epilepsy-related death. Your support will help them support grieving families, and raise epilepsy awareness.
